Benefiting Sierra Wildlife Rescue

Project overview

Our Herbert Green Hands4Hope Club is working with Sierra Wildlife Rescue to raise funds for much needed services and supplies. Sierra Wildlife Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to the mission of preserving El Dorado County’s wildlife through public education and by rehabilitating and releasing injured and orphaned native animal species. The club will be hosting an on-campus Connection Classroom Competition called "Feed A Baby Bird" from April 15-25, 2024. All proceeds will be used to purchase supplies for the baby bird nursery. To participate in the Connection Classroom Competition, please make your donation through this link

We are also hosting a general online donation campaign. We are asking for monetary donations so we can purchase baby bird food, powdered bird vitamins, and other much needed items used to feed baby birds.  We would love it if you could donate and help us reach our goal of raising $1,000 to spend on much needed supplies. 100% of your donation goes to provide supplies services for the birds.

You can also purchase items directly from Sierra Wildlife Rescue's Wish List, and Chewy will ship items straight to SWR.

See our list of items specifically requested by SWR.
We will shop for you! Online donations will be used to purchase these items from Chewy and Sam's Club.
