KIDS ZONE COMMITTEE

The Hands4Hope Kids Zone Commitee plans and host the Kids Zone Area at El Dorado Hills Town Center’s Fireworks and Freedom Concert, held annually on July 3. Kid Zone Committee participants select snacks and glow toys, as well as organize volunteers, secure sponsorships, create a marketing plan, manage an event budget, and oversee ticket sales and concessions at the event. Youth in grades 6-12 participate in this Committee. 

To join the Kids Zone Committee, youth must be registered volunteers with Hands4Hope and must pay the annual registration fee (scholarships available.)  The Kids Zone Committee Application was open April 24-May 6, 2026 and the committee is now formed.

Many volunteers are needed on the day of the event.  For this event, there is no registration fee required to volunteer. Volunteers do need to register.

This is one of the largest youth-led fundraisers for Hands4Hope of the year! This event benefits the Hands4Hope Education and Outreach Programs.
