PROJECT final UPDATE
The club hosted a fun family night movie fundraiser on April 21st. Thank you Mr. Cambridge, the school principal, for helping us secure using the multi-purpose room free of charge for our event. Thank you to the parents for coming early to set up and staying to tear down, supplying all the snacks, a popcorn machine and all your support! The club worked hard setting up the event, selling movie snacks and clean up. Our event raised a net $793 for Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance. Keaton's joined the club for our last meeting on 5/10 to celebrate with us. It was a great year!

Club projects
We are hosting a movie night on Friday April 21st to raise money for Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance. The money will help with financial support for families that are battling cancer basic needs, including grants, scholarships, and financial education to allow parents-guardians to focus on the health and wellbeing of their child(ren).
Through research and inquiry, students and partners identify a genuine community need and its root causes.
Based on initial research, students identify a realistic and meaningful service project with clear goals, timeline, roles, and follow-up.
Examples of Planning and Preparation activities:
• Create a timeline
• Create a budget
• Break into committees
• Meet with community partners
• Create a plan
• Plan an event
