Live Drawing Fundraiser

Our Oak Ridge Even Hands4Hope Club is working with CASA to raise funds for much needed volunteer training services. CASA stands for Court-Appointed Special Advocates.  Through this program, volunteers are appointed by a judge to help advocate for the  best interest of a child who has been abused or neglected.  These advocates are extremely important because they can help the judges fully understand each child’s circumstances and make a well informed decision tailored to each specific child’s needs.  The volunteers must go through extensive training to become effective advocates before they can begin to help children in need of support.  This is where Hands4Hope comes in.  The Oak Ridge Hands4Hope Even Club is supporting CASA with a fundraising campaign to raise money for the advocate training programs.  Additionally, we have an awareness campaign to help people learn about this life-changing program and encourage adults to become CASA advocates.  By supporting…
