Our Hands4Hope Club at Folsom High is working with Children’s Hope Foster Family Agency to collect essential items for children and teens when they first arrive in foster care, often with no personal belongings.    Children’s Hope is a non-profit organization located in Roseville, California with many other offices located all over Northern California. This year will be 20 years that Children's Hope has been serving the community. Their mission statement based on their website is “to provide our resource parents and families with a professional level of care, compassion, understanding, and services which meet or exceed their greatest expectations.” We decided to choose Children's Hope for our project because due to COVID-19, they have had a lack of essential items to give to the children that come into their care.

We are also partnering with Lifted Salon in Folsom to collect toys to be delivered over the holidays or included in comfort bins or duffel bags along with the essential items!
