Our Oak Ridge Odd Hands4Hope Club is working with Children's Hope Foster Family Services to raise funds for much needed items: school supplies, books and new toys. Children's Hope Foster Family Services is a non-profit with a mission to provide their resource parents and families with a professional level of care, compassion, understanding, and services which meet or exceed their greatest expectations. As an organization they are committed to their resource children to support and guide them to attain and live a normal loving, balanced lifestyle in today's society. We are specifically working to help fill their current unmet need of not having enough school supplies, books and toys for each child in foster care. We have a goal of raising $1000 in donated items and funds. 100% of your donation goes to provide supplies for children in foster care in our local area of El Dorado and Sacramento Counties.

How can you help? Join us at one of our two dine-out nights at El Favrito and Chipotle on our designated nights and dine for a cause with a percentage of the profits going to our project (dates TBA) Check back for more information soon! Also, from April11th to 24th we will be hosting a drive/online donation event. We are asking for donations of NEW school supplies and toys, as well as both new and gently used books for children 2-18 years old. Donation drop off barrels are stationed at Datwyler Orthodontics in El Dorado Hills, the El Dorado Hills Branch Library, as well as Barns & Noble in the Palladio-Folsom. We would love it if you could donate, help us reach our goal and help the local children currently in foster care!
